View audits

Administrators can:

To view the auditClosed of a table:

  1. Log on to the District view.
  2. Click the Global tab.
  3. Click a side-tab. A list of all tables related to the category appears. For example, the Student side-tab displays all Student tables. The All side-tab displays all tables in the system.
  4. Select a checkbox for a table, and click Audit Records:
  • For each entry, the page displays the following:
    • Time the change was made
    • Type of changed made (modify, create, or delete)
    • User who made the change
    • Current value in the field
  1. Click the date to display the Audit Details page.
  2. The Audit Details page displays the following:

    • Type of change
    • Date and time change was made
    • User who made the change
    • Audited record
    • Field's previous value
    • Field's changed value
    • Field's current value (might be different than the changed value if a change had been made after this particular change was made)
    • Any related changes

Note: The audit record includes any changes made on a page before the information is saved. For example, if values in five fields were changed, and then the user clicked Save, the audit contains all five changes.

To view the audit of a single record:

  1. Log on to the District view.

  4. Select a checkbox for a table, and click List.
  5. Click a record.
  6. Click the Audit sub-tab.
  7. For each entry, the page displays the following:
    • User who made the change,
    • Type of changed made (modify, create, or delete)
    • Time the change was made
    • Current value in the field
    • Field name
    • Previous value in the field
  1. Click the drop-down to filterClosed the list of audit records by time:
    • Today
    • Yesterday
    • This week
    • Last week
    • This month
    • All records

To view the audit of a user:

  1. Log on to the District view.
  2. Click the Admin tab, and then click the Users side-tab.
  3. Select a checkbox for a user.
  4. Under Users, click Audit.
  5. Click the Table drop-down to select the table you want to view entries for. A list of audit records appears.
  1. Click the audit record you'd like to view the details for.

The Audit Details page displays the following:

  • Type of change
  • Date and time change was made
  • User who made the change
  • Audited record
  • Field's previous value
  • Field's changed value
  • Field's current value (might be different than the changed value if a change had been made after this particular change was made)
  • Any related changes
